The reason why I chose this as my 1st image is because I quite like the shadow behind the model, its looks really effective. I also like how the kimono is crossed over and covered, the colours on the kimono also goes with her make-up which is blue and pink. Another thing I like is the lighting in her hair, some areas are very dark and the curly areas is where the light is shining, giving it that gorgeous look. The reason why I the perfume is included because its to make the background stand out more (background is light blue and the bottom tip of the perfume is a darker blue) . The Artist I did my research on was Joanna Kustra and one thing I got out of her work was the cool colours that she uses in the background and the warm colours that her model is wearing.

Image 2:

The reason why I chose this as my 2nd image is because I quite like the way her hair has been coloured, and this was another idea I got from Kustra's work. In her photographs that I referenced, her model has different colours in her hair aswell and I guess it was something I wanted to have a go of doing on my model. I also quite like her stance and the way she's got her arm on an angel touching her chin. The reason for this pose is to show the curles in her hair, also to show the shadow in the background of her har and abit of her back on the left side area and also to put the model in a positon that is comfortable for her. The things I edited on Photoshop was the lighting, changing the constrast and making the image a bit lighter and cropped the sides to just get that bule background at the back.

Image 3:

The reason why I chose this as my 3rd image is because the model is positioned in a great place, and its a great shot aswell. I like how shes tilted on an angle and that hat aswell, it shows one half of her face clearly and the other is sort of covered because shes blocking it with her hair and the hat shes wearing. Also another reason why I like this image is because the model is looking down so we could also see the eye shadow clearly on her eye lids, if you look closely its a cool and warm colour aswell and this is to get that idea out that I got from Joanna Kustra which is the Artist I did my research on. If you look at this image, the contrast is dark and thats because I shot it on an angle and you could also see the shadow taht is very dark and bold, the shadow also stands out more on the left side and thats because I had it shot on the left side which is on an angle.

Image 4:

The reason why I chose this as my 4th image is because her stance looks professional, and her arm is nicely crossed over to the front shoulder which gives that firm poses. I also like how the model has both eye lids looking down so we could see the colours clearly and how it matchs her clothes and the background. The nude hat matches with her nails and goes with her skin colour as well as the braclet on her han, the cool warm and nude look actually suits. Also I quite like how the model looks comfortable and relaxed, it makes it easier for the photographer to shoot the good images. I really like the shadow in the background aswell, that shadowy area also makes the image look like its good quality, another word I would use is proffesional. What I changed about the image was the lighting, the original was sort of darker, until I used Photoshop to change the contrast and made it lighter, so you could see the models face clearly.
